Wool Cottage is a cosy 1930s cottage fully renovated to 3 1/2 star status. This has 3 bedrooms catering for 7 including a queen and a double, 2 singles and a top bunk, kitchen, dining room, lounge and full size bathroom.
These units are fully equipped with all you need in the kitchen, TV, Video/, Stereo/Tape Deck, Convection Microwave, Dining suite and sofa bed lounge.
The cabins are single room units with a double bed and 2 singles, fridge and table & chairs. These use the large Camp Kitchen and Ablution Block of the Camp Ground. The Camp Kitchen is designed to be comfortable in all weathers.
The camp sites are all leveled and grassed and convenient to the facilities. RV's are welcome and a Dump Point is provided. The ablution block has a shower / toilet room for the disabled and families. The laundry gives free use of the washing machine and dryer for guests.
All are nestled in a quiet rural setting amoungst the granite boulders and natural bush of sheoak and redgum and flowering native plants, on a working farm. Guests are welcome to explore the 300 acre property, see the wildflowers in season, observe farming activities when being carried out, watch the kangaroos of an evening, or just plain enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

Recently renovated and reopened we have four, comfortable and spacious timber cottages in a peaceful farm setting, adjoining the spectacular Walpole Wilderness Area. There are many walk trails into the surrounding forest. Wildlife, mostly kangaroos and emus roam freely and birdlife abounds. There are chooks, guineapigs and farm animals grazing. Pets are welcome by arrangement. We are just a short drive to the beautiful Mt. Frankland National Park and Fernhook Falls, waterfall on the Deep River. There are hammocks and BBQs on the large verandahs, for a relaxing, get away from the bustle, kind of holiday.

The spectacular southern coast offers wild beaches such as Conspicuos Cliffs and Mandalay for beachcombing, idyllic swimming beaches such as Peaceful Bay , sailing, windsurfing ,boating and fishing on the Walpole/Nornalup Marine National Park, and secluded river spots for washing off the salt water and relaxing in the sunshine amongst the wildflowers of our forests. Access to many bush tracks also makes it a great place to bring a dirt trail or mountain bike. The mundabiddi track passes within a kilometre of the property.
There is plenty of space for leisurely walks, through nearby forests or around the beef, sheep and aquacultural activities. We are currently diversifying into marron (delicous local fresh water crayfish) production, and offer catch and cook your own. We are currently in the process of liscencing a food / catering business and hope by Summer 2012 will be offering marron platters and fresh farm produce. Being on the edge of the wilderness we have limited internet, mobile phone coverage and TV reception. Telstra mobiles work in some places, please bring your own portable DVD player if required, internet is available at reception for crucial usage or enjoy the opportunity to unplug!
Each 2 bedroom cottage has 1 kingsize bed and 6 single beds, gas cooking and hot water, a pot belly wood fire for chilly evenings as well as a barbecue for star spangled ones and beautiful veiws of the Hunter road Valley.

Our 8 clean, comfortable, self-contained chalets have 2 and 3 bedrooms, a combined kitchen/living area and their own toilet and shower. The 2 bedroom chalets sleep from 2 to 6 people and our 3 bedroom chalet can sleep up to 9 people. One chalet is suitable for wheelchairs and has a gas heater for the winter months. The other chalets each have a potbelly fire and all windows are fly-screened for your comfort. All the chalets are furnished with lounge and kitchen furniture, colour TVs, refrigerators, electric cooktops, microwave ovens, kettles and toasters.
Villas
Our 2 bedroom villas sleep up to 6 people and are fully self-contained, with a combined kitchen/living area and their own toilet and shower. Both villas have queen size beds with electric blankets, hair dryers, TV and DVD players and gas heaters for those cosy winter nights. Each kitchen has a full gas stove and microwave.

Watermark Kilns are different. They are 50s tobacco kilns converted to accommodation. The buildings are on the State Heritage Register, so you are surrounded by history the moment you move onto the gravel (yes gravel - you have to be a bit adventurous to find us). See our website for details. The Single Kiln and Bell Cottage are fairly conventional self-catering accommodation, but you will need to contact us to discuss the Double Kiln. It's great for groups or a couple of families.
We are right next to Schafer Hut on the Bibbulmun Track and our focus is on supporting walkers, although we do a terrific line in family holidays. Our involvement in The Karri Cup means that we know the forest tracks between Pemberton and Northcliffe very well and can support bike riders with maps and information. Prices are budget, but facilities are first class.

We are a farm of over 100 acres. We grow marron and Dexter Cattle. Our permaculture garden is open to guests who can supplement their meals with whatever is in season – Locals bring their overseas visitors to see the kangaroos grazing in late afternoon. Over 70 different bird species have been recorded on the property. Listing the botanical variation would be tedious. If you see something and want to know what it is in this world listed ‘hot spot’ ask us and we can probably identify it for you. If you want to find that elusive orchid, we probably know where it is.
